Compliance Tracking Overview
The platform uses a dynamic compliance system to help you and your leadership maintain situational awareness of training, certifications, and other requirements. This guide explains how compliance tracking works.
What is Compliance?
Compliance refers to meeting the requirements set by your organization for your role. These requirements might include:
- Background checks
- Training certifications (CPR, First Aid, De-escalation)
- Firearms qualifications (if applicable)
- Policy acknowledgements
Each requirement has a status that contributes to your overall Readiness State.
Understanding Your Readiness State
Your readiness is displayed as a color-coded indicator on your Compliance page.
| Color | State | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Ready | All compliance items are valid and up to date. |
| Yellow | Expiring Soon | One or more items are expiring within 30 days. |
| Orange | Action Needed | One or more items are expired or missing. |
| Red | Blocked | Your account status is Ineligible or Inactive. |
Check your Compliance page regularly. A Yellow status is a friendly reminder to renew items before they expire.
Where to View Your Compliance
- Navigate to Compliance in the sidebar.
- You will see your full compliance dashboard.

Summary Statistics
At the top of the dashboard, a 4-column grid provides a quick snapshot of where you stand:
| Statistic | Description |
|---|---|
| Missing | Requirements with no submission on file. |
| Expiring | Items that will expire within the warning window. |
| Expired | Items that have passed their expiration date. |
| Total | The total number of requirements assigned to you. |
Compliance Tracks
Your requirements are organized into tracks (e.g., “Org Wide,” “Onboarding”). Each track is displayed as a collapsible card. Within tracks, requirements may be grouped into phases that represent a progression — for example, an onboarding track might have Phase 1 (background check), Phase 2 (initial training), and Phase 3 (field observation).
Each item within a track displays:
- The requirement name
- Current status (Valid, Expiring, Expired, Missing, Pending Review)
- Expiration date (if applicable)
Some requirements are role-specific and only visible to safety team members in certain roles. If you do not see a requirement that a teammate has, it may not apply to your role.
Global Requirements
Requirements that are not tied to any specific track appear in a separate Global Requirements section, marked with a globe icon. These typically apply to all safety team members regardless of role or track progression.
Policy Acknowledgements
Required policies are listed in their own section with:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Status | Current state: Acknowledged, Renewal, or Pending. |
| Signed Date | When you last acknowledged the policy. |
| Action | View to read the policy, or Accept to acknowledge it. |
Onboarding Visibility: Items from the “Onboarding” track (like your initial background check information) remain visible in your history even after you become a full member. This allows you to verify your original qualification dates.
