Scheduling
The Schedule is the operational heart of N4 Safety. It shows when you’re assigned to serve and helps coordinate coverage across your safety team.
How Scheduling Works
Safety teams operate on a rotational squad system:
- Your organization is divided into Squads (e.g., Squad A, B, C, D).
- Each squad is assigned to specific weekends or events on a rotating basis.
- Within each service, members are assigned to Posts (e.g., Lobby, Kids, Parking Lot).
Your Squad Lead coordinates coverage. If you can’t serve, use the Swap feature to trade shifts with another team member.
What You’ll Find
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Schedule Views | Browse your schedule using Grid, List, Focus, or Month view modes. |
| Event Types | Events are categorized as Service, Program, Special, or Training so you can see what’s ahead at a glance. |
| Swap Requests | Request to trade an assignment with another safety team member. |
| Training Events | Register for training sessions and track your attendance history. |
| Event Checklists | Leadership can attach checklists to events for setup, teardown, or procedural tasks that your team completes on-site. |
Key Concepts
Services
Regular weekend worship services that require safety coverage. Each service has a date, time, and configured posts.
Posts
Specific positions within a service (e.g., Pastoral Protection, Rear/Foyer, Kids, Parking Lot). Posts are configured by your Admin and vary by organization.
