Updating Contact Info
Keep your contact information current so your team can reach you when needed.
What You Can Update
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Phone Number | Your mobile or contact number for emergency use. |
| Preferred Name | Nickname or “goes by” name for display purposes. |
Your email address and legal name are controlled by Admins. Contact your Coordinator if those need to change.
How to Update
Step 1: Go to Your Profile
Click Profile in the sidebar.
Step 2: Find the Contact Section
Locate the Contact Information or Personal Details section.
Step 3: Edit Your Information
Click “Edit” or the pencil icon to enable editing.
Step 4: Make Your Changes
- Phone Number — Enter your updated number with area code.
- Preferred Name — Enter a nickname if you go by something other than your legal first name.
Step 5: Save
Click “Save” or “Update” to confirm your changes.
About Preferred Name
The Preferred Name field is optional but useful if:
- You go by a nickname (e.g., “Mike” instead of “Michael”)
- You prefer a middle name
- You have a commonly used short name
Your preferred name appears in schedules and team lists. Your legal name remains on official records.
Why Accurate Contact Info Matters
Your phone number may be used for:
- Emergency contact — If something happens during a service.
- Schedule changes — Last-minute coverage needs.
- Leadership outreach — Important team communications.
Keep your phone number current. If Leadership can’t reach you during an operational situation, it could impact the team’s response.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |

| Can’t edit email | Contact your Admin — email changes require verification. |
| Changes not saving | Ensure required fields are complete, then try again. |
| Name appears wrong elsewhere | Some displays use cached data — it may take a moment to update. |
