Training Events
Ongoing training is vital for a prepared safety team. The platform allows you to find, register for, and track your attendance at training events.
Finding Training
- Navigate to Schedule from the sidebar.
- Training events appear alongside other events on your schedule. Look for the GraduationCap icon and the green Trn badge.
- If you have registered for a training event, a checkmark appears on its event card.
Types of training may include:
- Range Qualification
- De-escalation Workshops
- First Aid / CPR / Stop the Bleed
- Classroom Scenario Training
Training Detail Page
When you click on a training event, you are taken to the Training Detail Page.
![]()
The page includes:
- Training type badge at the top, identifying the kind of training
- Detail grid with four cells: Date, Time, Location, and Instructor
- Description of the training content and objectives
- Capacity progress bar showing “X / Y spots filled” so you can see availability at a glance
- Action buttons (see Registration below)
Registering for Training
The action button on the Training Detail Page reflects the current state:
| State | Button | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| Open spots available | Register Now (green) | Click to claim your spot. |
| At capacity | Class Full (disabled) | No spots remain. Check back if someone cancels. |
| You are registered | Cancel Registration (red) | Click to release your spot (confirmation dialog will appear). |
| Event has ended | This event has ended (disabled) | Registration is closed for past events. |
You cannot cancel your registration after attendance has been recorded by the instructor. If you need to make a change after the event, reach out to your leadership.
Some advanced training may be restricted to specific roles or require prerequisites. If you cannot register, check the event details for requirements.
Tracking Your History
Your training registrations are organized into two sections:
- Upcoming — Training events you are registered for that have not yet occurred.
- Past — Completed training events with your attendance record.
Once you attend a training:
- The instructor marks your attendance (Pass/Fail).
- The event appears in your past training history.
- If the training satisfies a compliance requirement (e.g., Annual Range Day), that requirement is automatically updated to Valid.
