Notification Preferences
Control how the platform sends you notifications. You have two global toggles that govern all outbound alerts.
Available Toggles
| Toggle | Description |
|---|---|
| Email notifications | Global on/off switch for all email alerts sent to your login email. |
| SMS notifications | Global on/off switch for all text message alerts sent to your phone number. |
These are all-or-nothing toggles. When you turn off email notifications, all platform emails are suppressed. The same applies to SMS.
Accessing Notification Settings
- Click Profile in the sidebar.
- Look for the “Notifications” or “Preferences” section.
- Toggle Email notifications and SMS notifications on or off.
How to Change Preferences
Each toggle has two states:
- On — You will receive notifications through that channel.
- Off — Notifications through that channel are suppressed.
Your changes take effect immediately.
Think carefully before turning off both channels. You may miss important safety alerts or schedule updates.
Tips
- Keep at least one channel on — Staying reachable is part of your role on the safety team.
- Check spam folders — If you have email notifications enabled but are not receiving them, check your spam/junk folder.
- Verify your phone number — SMS notifications require an accurate phone number in your profile. Update it under Updating Contact Info if needed.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Not receiving any emails | Check your spam folder. Verify your email address is correct in your profile. |
| Not receiving SMS | Verify your phone number is correct. Ensure SMS notifications are toggled on. |
| Can’t find notification settings | Look under Profile > Preferences or Settings. |
